A couple recent talks I did
Last month, Yacine interviewed me for his deep learning channel. He asked a lot of really thoughtful questions and we had a great discussion on how to get started in machine learning, how to use agents to deliberately create friction for yourself, and how to get started with ML if you already know software engineering. The underlying theme is what we are all thinking about lately: anxiety around what still matters in software engineering in the AI era. I wrote up the transcript here.
Second, Data Philly asked me to give an in-person talk on my topic of choice, and I talked about work I’ve been doing with ONNX and ONNXRT and optimizing inference in environments that require low latency. But really the talk was also about thinking through how to develop machine learning features. Those slides are here.
